The AT-85M “Arquebus” is the armored-warfare equivalent of a sniper, designed to infiltrate behind enemy lines, locate its target, take the shot, and escape. Highly mobile but lightly armored, its composite plating can easily withstand small arms fire, but would be totally outclassed in a toe-to-toe confrontation with an enemy tank. The Arquebus relies on speed and maneuverability as its primary method of defense.
Armed with a naval-caliber coilgun and equipped with articulated treads to allow it to adjust its profile, the Arquebus can either lower itself closer to the ground to minimize exposure, or raise itself to peek over terrain and fire from behind cover.
