EF-19R "Cutlass"

The EF-19R “Cutlass” is a lightweight and agile interceptor designed for rapid interdiction of enemy craft with very little advance warning.

The Cutlass is also outfitted to perform escort jamming as well as traditional sensor jamming and deception, able to accompany allied fighters during all phases of an attack mission.

The craft's dedicated airborne electronic attack equipment is capable of intercepting, automatically processing and jamming received radio frequency signals, and can also be used to detect, identify and direction-find those signals, providing signals intelligence to friendly forces.

Behind the Scenes

This craft's design is inspired by the sleek, swoopy, futuristic fighters from various anime, such as the YF-19 from Macross Plus, the FFR-41MR Mave from Yukikaze, and the ADFX-01 Morgan from the Ace Combat series.
