The SiD-32 “Talon” is the simplified, cheaper knock-off of the XF-23 “Sabre”, mass-produced for export in a state-run factory by conscripted labor. It is generally comparable to the XF-23, although is built with cheaper materials (resulting in less-resilient armor) and lacks the ability to operate outside of a planetary atmosphere. It also features only one autocannon. However, the weight savings and optimization for atmospheric flight grants it better maneuverability.
When deploying a SiD-32 “Talon”, use the appropriate cards for an XF-23 “Sabre” Fighter, but reduce the starting Hull value by 3 and increase the starting Evasion by 1.
This design is intended to be “cheap” to build (i.e. using parts that often come in multiples in a set) and uses parts from the SV-51 Lance and AC-75 Gladius sets, with some optional decorative parts from the SC-41 Falx set.
