Pirate Ravager

The Pirate Ravager is a simplified, slapdash modification of the “Scarab” interceptor originally manufactured by Xenodyne Kosmos. In the harsh conditions of the Hydaeleon Rift, as things age and break down, replacement parts are often unavailable so settlers have to make-do however they can. Stripping a craft down to its bare essentials streamlines the design and lowers the risk of a cascading systems failure.

Filling the role of the heavy assault craft, the Ravager could best be described as a collection of guns with a spaceframe strapped to them. More heavily armored and carrying more individual firepower than any other craft in the pirate fleet, it is theoretically designed to provide close air support, but is usually only called in as a last resort to raze particularly-resistant enemy strongholds and settlements as part of a “scorched earth” policy.

Special Rules

When deploying a Pirate Ravager, use the appropriate cards for a “Scarab” Interceptor, but increase the point cost by 1, increase the starting Hull value by 3, and decrease the starting Evasion by 1.

Construction

This design is intended to be buildable using only parts from the Scarab K.L.A.W. Interceptor set with the addition of four tri-cubes and three orange pegs, and some optional weapons from the Locust K.L.A.W. Stealth Craft.
